ADAVIM FRANCE VICTIMES MARTINIQUE
The association was created in 2005 to ensure care to any person who considers themselves a victim, especially of a criminal offence, on the territory of Martinique.
OBJECT
ADAVIM FRANCE VICTIMES MARTINIQUE has several objectives :
Improve access to the law, especially for victims of criminal offenses and traffic accidents.
Offer comprehensive care for victims and/or people in pain : welcoming, counselling, psychological help, information on rights, legal and social support.
To truly consider the victims’ interests, effectively support in the resolution of their difficulties and the appeasement of their suffering.
To fight against the isolation of victims and reduce the feeling of insecurity.

ADAVIM FRANCE VICTIMES MARTINIQUE is composed of an office, a board of directors and a multidisciplinary team of professionals (salaried and volunteers), trained in victim assistance.

- Local Committee for Victim Assistance (CLAV) where it plays a leading role
- Local Security Contract for the cities of Lamentin, Sainte-Marie, Rivière-Salée,

- Local Security Contract for the City of Rivière-Salée
- Local Security Contract for the City of Vauclin
- Contributes to the reduction of intra-family violence and violence against women through better prevention and care for victims
- Contributes to the reduction of offenses/incivilities and the feeling of insecurity through better prevention
- Information and awareness-raising actions for children, young people, social services, police, gendarmerie, associations
INTERVENTION FRAMEWORK
ADAVIM FRANCE VICTIMES MARTINIQUE is one of 130 associations, a member of France Victimes. Its territorial scope extends to the limits of the judicial court of Fort-de-France.
Its partnership approach with the justice system and the Fédération Nationale d’Aide aux Victimes, France Victimes, makes it the local referent for victim assistance at the national level and thus responds to the public policy’s wish to promote the development of solidarity in favour of the victims of crime.
The association works in collaboration with the courts, hospital services, social services, the police, the gendarmerie, specialized associations and, in general, with any organization likely to receive victims.
The services of ADAVIM FRANCE VICTIMES MARTINIQUE are offered free of charge to the public.
