In the shoes of a victim: France Victimes Martinique joins forces to raise awareness among young first-time offenders
In Martinique, raising awareness among young first-time offenders is crucial for preventing recidivism and fostering civic education. Recently, as part of a citizenship training organized by the Juvenile Judicial Protection Service (PJJ) within the Educational Unit in an Open Environment (UEMO), France Victimes Martinique was invited to participate alongside other stakeholders. Our initiative, titled ‘In the Shoes of a Victim,’ aims to make young people aware of the impact of their actions on victims. This effort, renewed after a highly appreciated first edition last year, seeks to deepen their understanding of the consequences of their behavior.
