Legal assistant
The victim support association, ADAVIM FRANCE VICTIMES 972 MARTINIQUE, specializing in assisting victims of criminal offenses and natural disasters, a member of France Victimes and accredited by the Ministry of Justice, is recruiting a welcoming jurist as part of the “adulte relais” program.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s 1 in criminal law
- Experience in victim assistance or legal access
- Knowledge of criminal law and procedure
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and urgent environment
- Necessary travel requiring a vehicle
- Proficiency in computer tools
- Operational level of English and/or Spanish and Creole
Missions
- Reception, listening, and interviews with victims
- Informing victims about their rights
- Assisting victims in their procedures
- Conducting victim assistance and legal access sessions
- Accompanying victims in court
- Evaluation, report writing
- Implementing and leading prevention actions
- Contributing to legal monitoring
- Facilitating prevention workshops
- Participating in internal and partnership meetings
